Are you working hard on your craft but not getting seen by agents and casting?
Are you occasionally booking roles but not creating momentum or repeat bookings?
Are you feeling uncertain about the changes in the industry and unsure of how to navigate what is coming next?
The 4Cs (Creativity, Craft, Commerce and Communication), are the four pillars on which to form a successful acting career. Catherine Lough Haggquist developed the framework of The 4Cs to guide actors to take the necessary steps required to maximize opportunities.
Producing Your Acting Career: An Introduction to The 4 Cs is a fundamental stepping stone for actors who are ready to enhance their awareness of the power and responsibility they have in building their own thriving acting career.
Concepts explored in this seminar include:
Defining The 4Cs and illustrating how they are the necessary elements for creating a successful, sustainable acting career
Exploring how these elements work together to increase your value as an actor
Moving from the mindset of the “dependent actor” to that of the “independent actor” and ultimately to that of the “interdependent actor”
*Length of seminar may change based on number of students
Catherine Lough Haggquist has developed The 4Cs to help actors reach their full potential. Cat observed that most actors are inclined to spend nearly 100% of their efforts on only 50% of the job. And then, they wonder why they don’t get better results. Actors need to develop The 4Cs, not just the two that they automatically gravitate towards. You can read more about Cat at the link below:
You need to take this if you’re:
New to the industry and want to know more about how the business works
Having trouble securing an agent or being seen by casting directors
Not getting callbacks and/or not being booked again by casting or productions
An established actor looking for new strategies
At the end of this seminar you will have a better understanding of The 4Cs, how they intersect with your career, which of the pillars need more of your focus and attention, and how to take steps to address that.
