Intimidated by the idea of being in an audition class and want to gain (or regain) your confidence?

Do you love the idea of being in class, but don't have a consistent schedule?

Prerequisites: None

Not everyone has a schedule that allows for regular occurring classes and/or they want more individualized teaching to help them grow as an actor. Over the course of 5 one hour sessions, working with your instructor one-on-one, you will build confidence as you tackle “one-line” auditions through to large principal roles. Please note as this program is developed for and with each student, the content is flexible to address your specific needs and pace.

  • The Audition process & Types of auditions

  • Self Tape best practices for recording, editing and sending/submitting

  • Making adjustments when receiving direction or feedback

  • Cold reading

  • And more!

Over the past 28 years Daniel has amassed a resume of over 150 credits in film and tv and over 20 theatre credits. Selected credits include lead roles in the films Toxic Skies, Secrets of a Marine’s Wife and the Disney Feature Film The BFG (directed by Steven Spielberg) and recent guest star roles on the television shows The Irrational, Motherland and The Good Doctor. He’s also appeared in over 35 Hallmark Movies. Selected Theatre credits include the lead role of Shapoor in the western Canadian premiere of Counter Offence at the Firehall Arts Centre (directed by Donna Spencer), the role of Jeremy in Coronation Voyage at the Belfry Theatre (directed by Roy Surette) and the role of Mickey in Hurly Burly at the Lyric Theatre Project (directed by Kate Twa).

Daniel has also worked extensively as an audition reader for over 12 years for various casting directors including Clark & Page, Mayers & Brandstatter and Michelle Allen. His professional demeanor and strong reading skills have earned him a strong reputation for additional work on set and other various projects. Daniel has taught his ever evolving Audition Workshop to hundreds of actors for over fifteen years and absolutely loves the process.
