Michael Shanks is best known for his work as Dr. Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1 for 10+ seasons and as Dr. Charlie Harris on Saving Hope for 5 seasons. Other notable work includes recurring roles on Burn Notice, Altered Carbon, 24 and Smallville and as the titular lead in the TV movie Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe story. He's excited to use his training from the BFA program at UBC and Stratford Festival as well as his extensive experience both in front of and behind the camera to help students up their game.
