Brenna Goodwin-McCabe
Writer, Director, Guest Instructor
Brenna Goodwin-McCabe is versatile writer and director with a keen interest in critical film analysis. She recently graduated with an English Masters from the University of British Columbia, where she also worked as a teacher’s aide. Her writing on science fiction, fantasy, and horror cinema has been presented at McGill, Dalhousie, and the University of British Columbia. In 2019, she was awarded a prestigious Social Sciences and Humanities Research grant for her thesis on Mary Shelley and Guillermo del Toro. Brenna is also a published author of poetry and essays. Along with film, Brenna is a long-standing member of the Young People’s Opera Society of BC and performed for the 2018 Little Black Dress Charity Gala.
