We will cover important topics such as what you need for a Basic Recording Setup, Animation VO Audition (Tips and Tricks to bring animated characters to life), Commercial VO Audition (Tips and Tricks to bring the words off the page) and performance skills casting directors look for in V/O self-tapes. On the final day of the camp, participants will receive individual feedback on their self-tape from our special industry guest. After taking this camp, students will have a deeper understanding of the VO side of the industry and will gain tools to better and more effectively audition in the world of Commercial and Animation VO. Schedule: Day 1: Working on cold material Day 2-3: Assigned material for exploration Day 4: Polishing in preparation for showcase Day 5: Showcasing to VO Artist Andrew Francis The new industry standard is that actors audition and attend callbacks from home via self-tapes and Zoom meetings.
