TWO-DAY ONLINE WORKSHOP For Ages 16 and Up October 23rd-October 24th Day One: 10am-4pm Day Two: 10am-1:30pm The relationship between an actor and their agent is essential. Career growth can only come from being on the same page, pushing for the same goal. Dan Payne will not only help students level-up their auditioning skills and process, but he will also cover business concepts outside the craft of acting. Once registered, Dan asks students to submit a headshot and resume so he can assign scenes just for you! Over the two days, students will go over: -Scene work/script breakdown and character prep -The agent/actor relationship and how it works -How to get and stay on casting's radar -The submission/audition process -Working with/and being a reader -Business etiquette -Professional expectations On Day 2 , Dan will introduce a special Guest Agent who will give feedback on the prepared scenes, offer their insights about their side of the actor/agent dynamic, and who will be open to responding to participants directly during a meaningful Question & Answer segment! Understanding and utilizing the skills and strategies of being a professional, considerate, proactive, informed individual will assist actors to advance in their work and more importantly, their life. The effective collaboration with an agent is the first major opportunity for that work to create real and lasting career change.
