What to Expect

ONLINE WORKSHOP Saturday, October 14th 10am - 1pm PDT* with Lori Triolo Pre-requisites: some acting experience or equivalent of Exploring Fitzmaurice Voicework® *Time may be adjusted based on enrollment* Have you heard about the benefits of Fitzmaurice Voicework® and wanted to learn more? Do you feel a disconnect between your body and your performance? Does anxiety while auditioning or working on set disrupt your creative process? The Exploring Fitzmaurice Voicework® workshop with actor, director, producer & internationally renowned instructor Lori Triolo will take you through deep and practical exercises that explore the dynamics between body, breath, voice, imagination, & language. This work will assist you in developing vibrant voices that communicate intention and feeling without excess effort. Actor, director, producer & internationally renowned instructor Lori Triolo will introduce how these 2 modalities support one another for a full body, breath, & voice experience while connecting authentically with your scene partner. Lori Triolo is a certified teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® and a long-time teacher of The Meisner Technique. She was trained by Sanford Meisner and was granted permission to teach after graduating from The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. Lori teaches from her private studio, as well as in conservatory and university programs across North America. Concepts explored in this workshop include: -Initiating a full body approach to voicework -Exploring the tools that foster a sense of presence even when you're under pressure -Evolving new definitions of one's self and artistry -And much more! You NEED to take this workshop if you are... -Feeling a disconnect between your body and your performance -Experiencing anxiety while auditioning or performing -Seeking new ways to access emotional connection and presence After taking this workshop, you will have a deeper awareness of yourself and how to remain creative and free while under stress.
