What to Expect

ONLINE SEMINAR Saturday, April 27th 1pm - 3pm PDT* with Belinda Williams Pre-requisites: None but some acting experience will prove helpful for context *Time may be adjusted based on enrollment* Does your child want to be an actor? Has your child already started auditioning, but you're not sure what's expected of you as their parent and how best to support them in this industry? In this seminar we will explore and explain the unspoken rules and expectations required to launch your child’s career. Get the most current information and answers to the questions you have about agents, casting directors, self-tape auditions and more with instructor and actor Belinda Williams. Concepts explored in this seminar include: - The steps you should take if your child wants to pursue acting - Talent agents: what they do, what they expect, and how to find the right one for you - Headshots: what they’re used for, why they’re important, and how to get them - The audition process: from getting one to getting the job - And much more! Belinda has over 10 years working in the film industry in various capacities including as: an actor, casting assisting, and talent agents’ assistant. Read more about Belinda in her bio. You will leave with the resources you need to find reputable agents you can partner with as well as the awareness of the tools & strategies needed to assist your young performer in their acting career.
