Improv is an essential skill for actors, and one that can make a huge difference at auditions. Being a good improviser is more than just being quick on your feet.
Through exercises, discussion, and demonstration, students in this one-day workshop will learn the fundamentals of improv and how they apply to the acting process.

About Eric Fell: Writer-performer Eric Fell is the co-creator and producer of two of Vancouver's longest running comedy shows, The Gentlemen Hecklers and The Critical Hit Show, both featuring monthly at the legendary Rio Theatre. He was a contributing writer for the critically acclaimed Netflix series "Mystery Science Theater 3000" and has performed for JFL Northwest, the Vancouver Improv Festival, and the Vancouver Poetry Festival. His past work includes a 12-year run with the internationally acclaimed Vancouver TheatreSports League, and appearances on CBC Radio's Definitely Not the Opera. He is very tall and probably not from space.

So much fun! We play theatre games and learn how to just for it! We also learn how to listen to our fellow actors and not filter our reactions. A great skill for actors, especially commercial actors!
Improv also helps with self-confidence and public speaking.
