Dann Wilhelm's Bio
Dann has been acting around the Lower Mainland for more than 25 years. Primarily focusing on theatre, he has appeared on stages at Stanley Park to Chilliwack and many points in between. An award-winning musical theatre actor and director, he has been nominated for numerous Community Theatre Coalition awards for his work on stage as well as behind the scenes. He was the first person to win back-to-back Best Actor in a Musical awards with the CTC for his performances in The Pirates of Penzance and The Gondoliers.
Dann’s training includes acting/improv with Vancouver Film School instructor and Vancouver Theatresports League veteran, Michael Robinson, as well as Scott Fidyk and Scott Owen; dance/movement with Carol Seitz and Ronelle Roode; directing and scriptwriting with Shadow Foster and Colin Vint; and voice with Debra DaVaughn and Heather Persall.
Dann taught musical theatre summer camps at the Lindbjerg Academy of Performing Arts in Coquitlam for several years and was also a vocal coach there.
